A Cowboy in Heaven
Once in a while, a boy becomes a man.
With a slow steady smile and a ready helping hand.
Not much better do they come,
Than the man that we lost today.
With the big bay horse, and a rope in his hand,
He strolls on through heaven's pearly gates.
The lush green fields full of Longhorns grazing,
Is a site to behold through the eyes he's now gazing.
We'll feel the loss deep in our hearts for many years to come,
But God was in need of a cowboy, and so the deed was done.
So smile today, a big one for Kyle.
And know in your heart you'll see him again, only after a while.
In loving memory of Kyle Ray Cowart, Tori Earls
