The mission of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society is to end the devastating effects of Multiple Sclerosis.

The Ms Walk will take place this spring in nearly 700 cities nationwide.

During The MS Walk 2000, more than 200,000 walkers across the country took steps to help end the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis by raising over $33 million.  The MS Walk not only raises money for MS research and local programs, but also increases awareness of MS symptoms and the important new treatments now available.

Walking as a team member makes The MS Walk even more fun!  Become a team captain and create a corporate or community team of friends, family and colleagues.  Enjoy walking together and sharing the experience of helping others.

The Mississippi MS Walk will take place on March 31, 2001, the walk in our area will be at Bude Baptist Church.

Franklin Telephone is selling tickets for a chance on a Walker Game Ear II for $1.00 to raise money for The Walk.  Drawing will be held February 14, 2001.  Please contact someone with Franklin Telephone or call:  Janice Goff at 601-384-5851 or Rhonda Terrell at 601-384-3199.
